Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs K. Saudabayev completes his official visit to China

Within the two-day visit the Kazakh FM had bilateral meetings with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi and Premier of China Wen Jiabao. The parties focused on most urgent issues of the Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership as well on important international and regional problems.

The Chinese side noted healthy and dynamic development of the Kazakhstan-China strategic partnership. Thus, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Y. Jiechi said the Chinese side together with Kazakhstan intended to implement the agreements reached between the countries, deepen trade-economic, transport and humanitarian cooperation, strengthen the contacts and interaction within the UN and the SCO in order to promote realization of the bilateral documents.

The Head of the Kazakh Foreign Office met also with the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and addressed the scientific circle of China.

Upon completion of his speech, K. Saudabayev said he considered the results of his visit to China as positive and successful "since all major parameters of our relations are defined within the regular meetings of our leaders N. Nazarbayev and H. Jintao". After then, the Kazakh Minister reminded of the December visit of H. Jintao to Kazakhstan and highlighted necessity of preserving the dynamics of the countries' relations and realization of the new agreements. "The purpose of my visit was discussion of the course of realization of those agreements reached at the bilateral meeting of our leaders", Saudabayev resumed.
