Secretary of State K. Saudabayev visits Almaty region

ALMATY. April 27. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev has visited today Almaty region to check out implementation of the region's socio-economic development program.

68 schools for 28, 600 students have been put into commission in the region since 2000. 10 of them were built under 100 schools, 100 hospitals program. 596 pre-school institutions, three hospitals, two maternity hospitals, seven outpatient clinics, 15 medical centers and a sanitary examination centers are functioning in the region to date.

K. Saudabayev visited several new projects in Ili municipality - High School No39 in Boralday village, Assem Trade Centre and Damu industrial-logistics center which covers the area of 210 ha.

At a specialized exhibition the Secretary of State got familiarized with the products and goods produced in the region. Thus, K. Saudabayev surveyed Danone-Bercut LLP which is engaged in agricultural processing and manufacture of over 20 dairy products. The capacity of the project is 12 thousand tons; its total cost is KZT 3 bln 68 mln 200 thousand. 67 people are working at the factory now.
