Secretary General of Turkic Council meets with ECOSOC President in New York

Secretary General Hasanov briefed the Ambassador Sajdik on the activities of the Turkic Council on economic and social projects as well as the working relations of the Turkic Council with its international partners, including the United Nations and its bodies. Ambassador Sajdik said that he is well aware of the work done by the Turkic Council and added he is pleased and satisfied with the visit of Secretary General Ambassador Hasanov. Furthermore, the issues of mutual interest, cooperation in furthering the economic and social development agenda of the member states along with other countries in the region were also touched upon at the meeting. Secretary General Hasanov presented a gift to Ambassador Sajdik at the end of the meeting. The Turkic Council Project Director Zamin Aliyev and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General during the meeting.
