Scrap tire recycling plant commissioned in Kyzylorda

The plant's design capacity is 270 tons of crumb rubber, 440 tons of active crumb rubber and 3.9 million meters of underground irrigation pipes, the press office of the National Agency for Technological Development reports. "Smart Drop subsoil irrigation tube is an innovative product having no analogues of production in Kazakhstan. The production is fully consistent with the principles of "green economy". Thus, utilization of scrap tires will improve the environmental situation in Kyzylorda region", said the managing director of "National Agency for Technological Development" JSC Dauren Muratbekov.

The project on manufacturing subsoil irrigation pipes and active crumb rubber has being realized by "KazKauchuk" LLP at the expenses of the innovative grant provide by "National Agency for Technological Development" JSC with the support of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies. The German company named «Water Future Systems GmbH», a world leader in the production of underground irrigation tubes, is the partner of the project.

Active rubber crumb without additives used for the manufacture of minor rubber products (gaskets, car mats, damping pads, etc.) as well as in the range of 30% to 60 % may be added to the rubber composition for manufacturing charge rubber products (tires, gaskets and seals operating under pressure , etc.), allowing to save expensive synthetic and natural rubbers.
