SCO University to unite higher educational institutions of Organization member states

ALMATY. February 23. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ The Shanghai Cooperation Organization works on the issue of establishing the SCO University. Kazakhstan's National Coordinator for the SCO Affairs, Ambassador Shakhrat Nuryshev has made it public in Almaty today.
"This is a unique project that unties 56 universities in the territory of all six member states of the Organization. The University prepares specialists in the field of nanotechnologies, IT, modern technologies, environment. The network of 56 universities provides an opportunity to enter a university in the territory of one state, for example Kazakhstan, and after a year of two years of studying the student can continue education in other country," S.Nuryshev said.
"We believe this will allow increasing the qualitative level of preparation of our specialists as long as they are given an opportunity to gain experience in interaction with foreigners."
