SCO turns into promising platform for joint interaction strengthening - K. Massimov

"Adoption of a joint initiative on overcoming the consequences of the global financial crisis at the last meeting in Beijing allowed us concentrating on development of effective anti-crisis decisions within the SCO", the Prime Minister said. He noted, that the member countries continued implementing the Action Plan on realization of the program of multilateral economic cooperation of the SCO member states.

"Thus, we can say that the SCO turns today into a promising platform for strengthening joint interaction and coordinating efforts in trade-economic sphere as well as for overcoming the consequences of the world financial-economic crisis", K. Massimov considers.

The Head of the Kazakh Cabinet stressed importance of defining a common goal to reach a new level amid the post-crisis development and giving the SCO a leading role in the region.
