SCO to expand its geographic scope

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Dmitry Mezentsev announced the organization plans to expand its geography.
"Expansion of its geographic scope will be mulled by SCO Heads of State this year," Mezentsev said at the IX meeting of the Supreme Courts' chairmen of the SCO member countries in Astana. In his words, experts have already mapped out a regulatory framework that will ensure expansion of the organization. Heads of the SCO member states are expected to convene in Dushanbe on September 11-12.
