SCO Summit in Astana date set for June 2011

ASTANA. February 1. KAZINFORM Regular session of the SCO Council of National Coordinators under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan was held on January 25-28 in Beijing; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.
The SCO member states (China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) unanimously supported the proposal of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to hold SCO jubilee summit devoted to the organization's 10th anniversary on June 15, 2011 in Astana.
Thus, the Astana Summit will be held on the day of establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
