SCO prime ministers convene in Tashkent

TASHKENT. November 29. KAZINFORM Today the capital of Uzbekistan will host the 12th session of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member countries, the press service of the Uzbek MFA reports.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Zhantoro Satybaldiyev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, SCO Secretary General Dmitry Mezentsev and others are expected to attend.

Representatives of the SCO observer states - Iran, India, Mongolia and Pakistan as well as partner international organizations - the ESCAP, the UN, the ASEAN and the CIS will participate in the work of the session.

Reports on the implementation of decisions of the SCO Council of Heads of State and the SCO Council of Heads of Government on further development and deepening of economic and humanitarian cooperation within the organization, activities of the SCO Business Council and the SCO Interbank Association are to be presented at the session.

In Tashkent the joint communique and a number of other documents are expected to be signed.
