Scientists in Beijing made new discoveries for learning more about Kazakh Khanate

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - During the trip of the delegation of the scientists of the International Turkic Academy to Beijing, new discoveries that might help to know more about the Kazakh Khanate were made.

The Academy held a sitting in Beijing dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the establishment of the Kazakh Khanate. Chinese scientists expressed special interest in the materials presenting unique information about the foundation of the statehood of Kazakhstan and the history of the Kazakh Khanate. "The fact that Kazakhstani scientists visited our university, delivered reports and shared their opinions expands our understanding about the history of Kazakhstan and the people of the country. The events of this type will help to have a positive impact on deepening of humanitarian and cultural relations between the countries," the director of the Institute of Ethology and Anthropology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences said at the meeting. Besides, Chinese scientists highly praised the work conducted by Kazakhstani historians on collection and studying of the materials helping to know more about the history of Kazakhstan, the press service of the International Turkic Academy informs. According to him, since 1950 over 2600 articles and more than 10 books about the history and culture of the Kazakh nation were published in the Kazakh language. Upon completion of the meeting, several institutes of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences expressed their interest and readiness to cooperate in the work held by the International Turkic Academy.
