ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Science should develop in close contact with industry; President Nursultan Nazarbayev has emphasized it at the first Kazakhstan International Congress on Mineral Resources and Metallurgy in Astana.
"Today you know how foreign firms work: every industrial company has powerful scientific research centers. If a company wishes to be successful, it should have powerful laboratories and centers at its enterprise - it is demand of the time", N.Nazarbayev noted.
Flagships of the metallurgical field should actively connect to implementation of tasks set, participate in elaboration of inter-industry scientific-technical plan, the Head of the Sate noted.
