School of Economics to be established in Astana

ASTANA. October 28. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ A School of Economics is to be established in Astana, where Nobel Prize laureates will read lectures. Academic Adviser of the "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists" Association, Professor Arystan Yessentugelov has announced within a meeting with representatives of foreign embassies and international organizations.

A.Yessentugelov noted that Nobel Prize laureates, professors Robert Mundell, Robert Aumann, Finn Kydland, Erik Maskin, James Mirrlees, Roger Kornberg, Edmund Phelps as well as UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Jan Kubis, Executive Secretary of ESCAP Noeleen Heyzer and others are among the members of the Club.

According to A.Yessentugelov, such large-scale projects in which the Club is engaged as creation of a world currency and others require development of the Road map with participation of Nobel laureates in economics.

Besides, the Club initiated establishment of the School of Economics, where the Nobel laureates will read lectures to students of the Kazakh universities.
