School construction a long time coming in Akmola region (PHOTO)

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Construction of a new school for 200 students is finally underway in the town of Yereimentau in Akmola region. KZT 365 million has been earmarked from the state budget to this end.
The contractor of the project - AlAnStroiKom LLP plans to complete the construction works by December 2014. The school construction was a long time coming as local authorities raised the issue of lack of schools in the town long ago. Locals admit that the school project was a several-year wait. It is only in 2013 that the school was included into the list of facilities to be built in the region in the upcoming year.
