Sberbank of Russia to fund USD 3,6 bln Kazakhstan Temir Zholy projects

ASTANA-BOROVOYE. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company and Sberbank of Russia signed a memo of cooperation within the frame of the 27th plenary session of the Council of Foreign Investors under the Kazakh President, the bank's press service said.
Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov attended the signing ceremony. The goal of the memo is to finance through public-state partnership, to support and fund the projects of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. The projects are to develop transport and logistics infrastructure, internal and external terminals network. Initial cost of the projects is USD 3,6 bln. The bank will also provide cash and liquidity management and trade financing to Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
