Santo Member of Polpharma Group allocates grants to Kazakh scientists

ASTANA. December 5. KAZINFORM - Santo Member of Polpharma Group Science Foundation has awarded two grants of KZT 1000,000 to the scientists of Medical University of Astana for the implementation or modification of scientific research in the field of medicine and pharmacy, the press release of the fund reports.

"Academic Program" was established by Santo Member of Polpharma Group in 2013 in order to support Astana Medical University scientists and it is carried out within the memorandum signed with Astana Medical University at the VI Astana Economic Forum.

"This program is a concrete proof of public-private partnership in health sector, it is aimed primarily at improving the quality of life and health care of citizens of Kazakhstan. We intend to continue to contribute to the development of the scientists' research capacity", said Arslan Sahin, the CEO of Santo Member of Polpharma Group.

The Supervisory Board headed by Peter Mildner (Poland) involves Bojenna Platos - Chair of science foundation called "Polpharma" (Poland); Arslan Sahin - CEO of Santo Member of Polpharma Group (Kazakhstan); Jaroslavna Budach - head of the medical department of Santo Member of Polpharma Group, (Kazakhstan).
