Samruk-Kazyna Fund to double number of jobs for disabled people

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund will offer more job opportunities for disabled people this year.
Umirzak Shukeyev, the Chairman of the Fund's Board of Directors, has announced the news at a press briefing of the Central Communications Service today.
In his words, presently 1 092 disabled persons are employed by Samruk-Kazyna NWF. And, as Mr. Shukeyev stressed, the fund is to offer jobs to at least 2000 people with disabilities this year.
It was President Nursultan Nazarbayev who initiated the move by speaking of the need to offer more job opportunities for disabled people in his State-of-the-Nation Address in January 2014.
