Samba dance-off begins at sambadrome in Rio

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Some 70,000 fans gathered to watch a competition of samba schools at the Sambadrome, a purpose-built dancing stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
The samba competition between the top 12 of nearly 100 competing schools was the culmination of the Brazilian carnival season, drawing an estimated five million people over several weeks.
