Sales of cars assembled in Russia increased by 77% in 2013

ALMATY. December 27. KAZINFORM - According to the press service of Kazakhstan Auto Association, sales by official dealers of Kazakhstan in November 2013 amounted to 16,898 units and since the beginning of the year the figure was 150,064 units, thus, cars sales growth by 74%.
The share of imports of cars sold from the beginning of the year equaled to 78.8%, the share of cars assembled in Kazakhstan reached 21.2%.
Among auto manufacturers the sales growth of cars originating from Russia amounted to 77% (78,324 units), sale of products from Uzbekistan rose as a share of 0.4% and quantitative growth amounted to 82.5% (12753). The Japanese manufacturers are in the third place in the Kazakh car market with a share of 8.4% and quantitative growth of 9.3 % (12 587). UK cars sale continues to grow. The share of production from South Korea reached 2.8%, quantitative growth - 59.4% (4179), cars sale manufactured in Germany continues to fall.
