S Korean artists showcase their art in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Modern graphic arts exhibition People has kicked off at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
20 works of South Korean, Kazakhstani and Uzbek artists are on display. The event is set to promote cultural exchange between the Republic of Korea and Kazakhstan. It is dedicated to the life and history of the Korean nation deported 77 years ago to Central Asia. The exposition is divided into three sections. The first two are the works of Central Asian and South Korean artists depicting the Korean history and events that have had an impact of the fates of deported Koreans and residents of the Korean Peninsula. The third section is devoted to the theme of unity and ties between the people.
