S Kazakhstan to implement eight investment projects in 2010

SHYMKENT. February 6. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ Eight investment projects are to be implemented in South Kazakhstan oblast in 2010 within the national and regional Industrialization Map, Governor Askar Myrzakhmetov announced it presenting a Plan of realization of the Presidential Message to the region's core group.
The projects concern various sectors of economy, including production of cotton cellulose and raw cotton; production of ready textile, ceramic granite, high-technological technical and transmission oils; construction of a cement plant, a poultry complex and a plant on production of elite seeds of cotton.
"We expect to spend around KZT 55.3 bln for the implementation of these projects. 1, 975 people have already been attracted for construction work. As soon as these enterprises are commissioned, 2, 200 people are planned to be provided with regular jobs", Myrzakhmetov said.
