Russian smuggler of heroin detained on Kyrgyz-Kazakh border

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Border patrol has confiscated at least 25 kilograms of heroin on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh Frontier Service.
A 52-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation was detained by the patrol. The man was trying to transport the smuggled heroin in his car from Kyrgyzstan to Russia via Kazakhstan's territory. An investigation has been initiated.
