Russian skier buried by avalanche in Italian Alps

ROME. January 12. KAZINFORM A Russian skier has died after being buried by an avalanche in the Italian Alps, local media reported on Monday. Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The incident took place in the Valle d'Aosta region bordering France and Switzerland on Monday evening.
The 34-year-old Moscow resident Sergei Simakov and his three friends, who survived the incident, were caught by the avalanche at 2,200-meter altitude in the area where skiing is prohibited. Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru for full version
