Russian Partriarch condemns attempts to rewrite WW II history

KIEV, July 29. KAZINFORM - Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill /Cyril/ who is visiting Ukraine has condemned the ongoing attempts to rewrite history, including the history of World War II, Itar-Tass informs.
"The efforts to rewrite history, to produce historical comments based on bias, or to refract history are highly deplorable for society," he said.
"Affluence and happiness can't be built on historical lies," the Patriarch said adding that whole repressive regimes have tumbled down partly for this reason in the past.
"Such experiments don't work," he said, according to Itar-Tass.
