Russian mobile hospital being deployed in Haiti

MOSCOW. January 16. KAZINFORM. A Russian mobile hospital is being deployed in Haiti, Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Friday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

The hospital has enough medicines for ten days of daily treatment of 1,000 patients.
All the three city hospitals in Haiti were flattened down by the devastating quake, so the Russian hospital would be very helpful. It is capable of surgeries and medical service provided by 50 doctors.
Meanwhile, ministry rescuers and rescue dogs have started their mission. Two men have been found alive under the debris, a ministry representative said.
The mobile hospital is deployed at the Haiti police academy, not far from the area where Russian rescuers are working; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.
