Russian Federation allocates $ 40 million grant to Baikonur

ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM - Russian Federation annually provides grants to the town of Baikonur in the amount of USD 40 million, this has been reported today by the Deputy Chairman of the National Space Agency Meyrbek Moldabekov at a briefing in Central Communications Service.
"Russia pays us for renting Baikonur USD 115 million and annualy allocates USD 100 million for operation and maintenance of space infrastructure including the launch site and the town", said M. Moldabekov.
