Russian ?EuroChem? to build mineral fertilizers works in Zhambyl region

ZHAMBYL REGION. May 29. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ New enterprise of the chemical industry ?EuroChemUdobrenie? LTD – daughter company of Russian ?EuoChem? mineral chemical company will be built in Zhambyl region, Kazinform refers to the press service of the department of industry and entrepreneurship of the region.
The biggest Russian investor plans to build a works on production of phosphoric mineral fertilizers with the capacity of 2 mln tons per year and 4 thousand working places in Karatau.
The company plans to invest USD 4 bln to production, including USD 300 mln to the development of the infrastructure of Karatau by 2015.
USD 1.5 bln are invested ate the first stage of the project. Construction and erection organizations of the region will be attracted to the construction of planned capacities. It will positively influence the employment situation of the region.
