Russian Ambassador calls to focus efforts on successful launch of Customs Union

ALMATY. November 25. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "It is vitally important for the Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus Troika to focus efforts on ensuring successful launch of the new integration institution - the Customs Union - beginning from January 1, 2009", Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov has said today at the Conference of the Customs Union in Almaty.
"Beginning from 1992 the Kazakh Leaders has spoke for strengthening of integration at the post-soviet space. All that we can observe today and the fact that the Customs Union will function is implementation of those ideas that N.Nazarbayev proposed and that are fully supported by Russia", M.Bocharnikov said.
"The integration component is the most important for me as for ambassador and not a specialist on particular sectors of the economy of customs relations. I agree that the launch of the Customs Union can be regarded to as the first success of the EurAsEC, providing way to formation of single economic space", the Russian diploma said.
