BERLIN. May 24. KAZINFORM Russia lost to the Czech Republic 1-2 (0-1, 0-1. 1-0) in the final match of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship at Lanxess Arena in Cologne on Sunday; Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.

Jakub Klepis (1) and Tomas Rolinek (39) scored for the Czech Republic to win the world champion title. Pavel Datsyuk scored (60) for Russia.
