Russia, US to hold nuclear security exercises in early August

WASHINGTON. July 26. KAZINFORM Russia and the United States will hold joint nuclear security exercises in early August, the press service of the US State Department reported on Monday. Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
The military exercises codenamed Crimson Rider will be held at the Camp Guernsey ARNG Base in Wyoming, the press service reported.
The military drill should train the measures for a safe delivery of nuclear warheads. The drill scenario envisages a rebuff of a terrorist attack, in which homemade explosive devices are used, in the nuclear warhead delivery. Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
