"Russia fully complies with bilateral military-technical cooperation agreements. We will make the next delivery, about 35 tanks, soon," he said.

Putin did not specify which tank models he meant, but experts said it must be T-72M1M.

He also said that Russian plants producing armaments for Venezuela had received upfront payments.

Russian companies are ready to build homes in Venezuela, Putin said. "Construction companies are ready to assist the solution of your housing problem. I know about your concern over these problems and the wish to build worthy homes for your citizens," he said.

Putin described Venezuela as a reliable partner, primarily in energy.

"Our trade requires constant attention. We are very glad that we have a reliable partner in Latin America and we can make projects important for us and the international market," he said.
