Russia to spend RUR 60 bln on Olympic construction in Sochi - PM

MOSCOW. April 15. KAZINFORM Some 60 billion roubles will be spent to finance Olympic construction in Russia's resort city of Sochi in 2010, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.
"More than 29.7 billion roubles will be allocated from the federal sources, and 29.1 billion roubles - from private sources," Putin told a teleconference with the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Evaluation Commission.
He reassured the IOC officials, works "are proceeding as scheduled and we allocate financial resources as planned", Kazinform has learnt from ITAR-TASS.
