Russia to ship up to 10 mln tons of its oil via Kazakhstan to China

ASTANA. KAZINFORM At today's plenary sitting the Kazakh Majilis approved the draft law "On ratification of the agreement between Governments of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on cooperation in transportation of Russian oil via Kazakhstan to China".
The draft law is aimed at creating conditions for pumping Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to China. The agreement defines the conditions for long-term transportation of Russian oil to the amount of 7 mln tons per year and with extension of annual pipeline shipment up to 10 mln tons. The agreement was delivered last December 24 in Moscow.
