Russia surpasses Kazakhstan in Olympic medal standings

ASTANA. August 3. KAZINFORM Russia's national team won another gold medal in judo at the XXX Summer Olympic Games in London on August 2.
The third gold for Russia was taken by judoka Tagir Khaibulaev performing in men's 100 kg category.
The Russian athlete took over judoka Naidangiin Tuvshinbayar of Mongolia.
Thanks to the third gold medal, Russia took the 9th spot in medal standings ousting Kazakhstan and South Africa.
Now Kazakhstan and South Africa share the 10th spot as both nations boast three gold medals.
