Russia's Sergei Kirdyapkin wins Olympic gold in 50 km race walk

LONDON, August 11. KAZINFORM Russia's Sergei Kirdyapkin won the gold in the men's 50 km race walk at the London Games on Saturday, finishing with a time of 3 hours, 35 minutes and 59 seconds.
The second was Australia’s walker with 3:36.53, and the third was China's sportsman with 3:37.16. Sport fans gave an ovation to Kirdyapkin when he finished, according to Itar-Tass.
