Russia's Polymetal plans to develop 3 deposits in Kazakhstan

SAINT PETERSBURG. October 1. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ Russian Company Polymetall JSC plans to buy licenses for development one copper and two gold deposits in Kazakhstan, the Company's press service quotes Director General Vitaly Nesis as saying.

"Polymetal plans to buy at least one of these licenses within half a year. The Company is also interested in developing deposits in Ukraine and it plans to start working at one of them in October 2010. Prior to negotiations on acquisition of this deposit the Company has decided to conduct test drills in order to confirm the results of geological exploration", V. Nesis added.
