Russia's Medvedev congratulates Nazarbayev on New Year

SCOW-ASTANA. December 30. KAZINFORM President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has sent congratulatory messages to heads of state and government of foreign countries on New Year 2012.

A congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that in 2011 the Russian-Kazakh allied relations obtained additional positive dynamics. Russia's President outlined success in implementation of large-scale joint projects in the energy sphere and strengthening the investment cooperation. D. Medvedev also emphasized that the integration processes received significant impetus: "The results of the top meetings in Moscow in November-December, 2011, confirmed common attitude to further increasing effective work within the CIS, CSTO, Customs Union, on formation of the Single Economic Space and establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union," the message reads.
