Russia lifts all restrictions on vegetable imports from Europe

MOSCOW. August 8. KAZINFORM Russia has lifted all restrictions on imports of vegetables from Europe, Head of the Russian Consumer Rights Watchdog (Rospotrebnadzor) Gennady Onishchenko told Itar- Tass on Monday.
"We have lifted all the restrictions on vegetable imports from European countries," Onishchenko said.
Russia banned imports of vegetables from Europe since June 2, fearing spread of an intestinal infection. European countries began to receive permissions to export vegetables to Russia since the end of June; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
