Also, Russia would host 500 children from the Japan's areas hit by the March earthquake and tsunami, according to the Russia's Chief Sanitary Inspector Gennady Onishchenko.

About 120 children from China would be invited, he added.

He said that all the children would be fed with their nation's traditional food to avoid health problems. For that purpose, cooks from the respective countries would accompany the kids, the official said.

The children will be lodged in the Ocean all-Russia children recreation camp in Vladivostok, which has been a place for youth international exchange and communications since 1983. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
