Russia confirms 12 A/H1N1 flu cases

Russian laboratories confirmed twelve A/H1N1 flu cases as of July 21. All the patients contracted the virus abroad," the Federal Consumer Rights and Human Well Being Service said.

Passengers arriving from flu zones are screened at Russian airports. A total of 86 flights and 9,691 passengers were screened on Tuesday at nine Russian airports receiving flights from America, Spain, Japan and the Dominican Republic. A total of 1,189 passengers arrived from America, 1,329 from Spain, 349 from Japan and 332 from the Dominican Republic.
