Route for 2014 Dakar Rally unveiled

JEDDAH. November 22. KAZINFORM Dakar rally organisers have unveiled the route of the 2014 event, which kicks off in Argentina in January. The competition lasts 15 days and will see cars, motorbikes, trucks and quads race across the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt lake before venturing in the Atacama desert, commonly known as the driest place on Earth. Approximately 750 competitors are expected to take part in the event, which gets underway on the 5th of January.
