Rough Guides puts Almaty firmly on the tourist map

ASTANA. January 19. KAZINFORM The well-known travel series, "Rough Guides", has published early January its top ten places to visit in 2014 - this year Almaty has come in at number seven on the list.
This is a welcome boost at a time when the city and area look to develop their potential as tourist centers, Kazinform refers to the weekly online publication Astana Calling.
