Roscosmos and Kazakh Nat'l Tech Uni cooperation agr't endorsed

ALMATY. June 18. KAZINFORM — In Paris within the 50th Anniversary Air Show at Le Bourget, Zheksenbek Adilov, rector of Kazakh National Technical University named after K.Satpaev, signed a cooperation agreement with "Scientific and Production Association named after S.A. Lavochkin "(Roscosmos) JSC.

The parties will combine their efforts in the field of scientific research, enhance international cooperation in exploration and peaceful use of outer space and training of teaching staff.

Scientific and Production Association under the name of S.A.Lavochkin is one of the leading Russian companies for development and practical use of the funds for unmanned space exploration, celestial bodies and for solving problems related to strengthening the country's defense. The portfolio of the company includes "Spectrum" projects of space observatories, communication and monitoring systems as well as expeditions to the Mars, the Moon and the Sun. Using the latest advances in technology solves these problems by implementing less expensive launch vehicles than the "Proton".

Currently the Le Bourget air show is to gather more than 2,200 companies from 44 countries which will demonstrate new items of aviation and astronautics. Two hundred official delegations from 88 foreign countries are scheduled to partake in the show.
