Road Map to help develop infrastructure in Zhambyl region

TARAZ. September 28. KAZINFORM. /Galina Skripnik/ KZT 1.7 billion was allocated for the repair of Zhambyl region highways and roads in Taraz city within the state program Road Map.
KZT 1.25 was allotted from the republican budget and 480.2 million from the local budgets. The funds were directed for implementation of 27 projects. The total length of the road sections under reconstruction is 296 kilometers.
According to chief of the regional passenger transport department T. Abdikaziyev, Road Map has a long term perspective. "Its realization will help solve not only the employment problems but the issues of creation and development of infrastructure in towns and villages", he said.
