Road Map implementation increases employment rate in South Kazakhstan

SHYMKENT. February 8. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ The unemployment rate in South Kazakhstan region was essentially decreased due to implementation of the Road Map program. To date it makes 5.9%.

"The President refers to improvement of the social conditions and employment rate as one of the main priorities. 19 thousand 977 new jobs were created in the region within the Road Map in 2010. 1 thousand 305 people were retrained. 1 thousand 179 out of them are employed", chairman of the Union of Veterans of South Kazakhstan region Zhunisbek Maulenkulov said.

Z.Maulenkulov has chaired the regional department for social protection for many years. He believes that the figures of population employment rate are promising. "9 thousand 110 people were involved in the youth practice program. 531 people got permanent jobs upon the completion of this program", he said.
