'Road map' creates 83,599 repair jobs

ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Over 83,000 repair and reconstruction jobs have been created due to implementation of the 'road map' program. Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalikova has announced at the Government?s telephone conference; Kazinform reports.

?The repair work is now underway in all the regions. As of June 5 the regions utilized KZT 19.8 bln. KZT 7.9 bln of that amount was provided by local budgets. As a result, 83,599 repair jobs have been created. According to the financing plans for June KZT 10.4 bln was additionally allocated for these purposes?, G.Abdykalikova said. ?2,819 enterprises entered into agreements on creation of social jobs. 18,734 people have already received jobs, the number of internship and trainee jobs has increased twofold. 7,608 graduates have been employed by 3,237 organizations within the 'road map' program?, she added. In this connection Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov urged oblast akims and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to improve the pending road map issues and analyze the cost of a job position in various sectors in each region and provide a report on the next telephone conference on June 22.
