Rizabek Aitmukhan claims 97kg gold to become Kazakhstan’s youngest-ever freestyle wrestling world champion

Rizabek Aitmukhan of Kazakhstan pocketed the 97kg freestyle gold at the U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana, Albania, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Kazakhstan’s Rizabek Aitmukhan defeated Mahdi Morafah of Iran 11-6 in the 97kg freestyle category of the U23 World Wrestling Championships.
Rizabek was the only athlete from Kazakhstan to climb the podium of the tournament.
He is also the first Kazakhstani to win the freestyle gold at the World Championships among athletes under 20.
