Riot-stricken Kyrgyz children invited to China's Hainan Island

BISHKEK. December 8. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbek/ 50 Kyrgyz children aged 7-15 are resting and improving their health in the best resort-recreation zone in Sanya city, Hainan Province in China. The children who suffered from the riots in June in southern Kyrgyzstan were invited there by the Chinese side.
According to the press service of the Chinese President, on December 6 the children visited famous Butterfly Valley located in Sanya province and two museums in the Bay Yalunvan.
At the Museum of Butterflies the children could see a rich collection of the insects brought from Asia, America and Africa. Later there was held an evening of friendship of the Kyrgyz schoolchildren with their Chinese peers. All participants of the evening were presented gifts and souvenirs.
