Rhythm of Valor parade draws crowds in Astana

The vibrant parade “Erlіk Yrğağy” (Rhythm of Valor) took place in Astana to mark Defender of the Fatherland Day, Qazinform News Agency cites the city administration.

Hundreds of drummers and majorettes performed in impeccable synchronization along the streets. The parade turned the city center into a scene reminiscent of a full-scale military parade, attracting large crowds of spectators.

The large-scale event featured music alongside synchronized marching, filling the central square with a ceremonial parade that captivated residents and visitors alike.

Participants included drummers and majorettes from the Schoolchildren Palace. Their synchronized movements, perfectly aligned with the rhythm of the drums, drew particular admiration from the audience.

Drummers from the Sagadat Nurmagambetov Zhas Ulan Republican School also participated in the procession. Their discipline and performance, shaped by military training, added a distinctive sense of ceremony to the event.

At the same time, the men’s choir from the Astana Department of the Penal System performed patriotic songs, leaving a strong impression on spectators.

The parade concluded with a festive concert featuring songs related to Kazakhstan, the homeland, courage, and unity. Both young performers and established artistic groups took the stage.

According to organizers, the primary objective of such events is to cultivate respect for the homeland among youth and to promote national values.

Residents and visitors of Astana enjoyed the festive program until late evening.

In recent years, interest in military-patriotic cultural events has grown in Astana, with parades and flashmobs featuring school and university students frequently trending on social media.

Earlier, it was reported that the Head of State had congratulated officers, soldiers, and guests during a ceremony awarding state honors and military ranks on Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day.
