Residential buildings and business premises of Green Block after EXPO-2017 to be sold and rented, Samruk-Kazyna

ASTANA. March 29. KAZINFORM - All objects of the capital ecological town called "Green Block" along the Kurgaldzhin highway after EXPO-2017 will be sold and leased with the following sale to the public.

The news has been announced today at the rally of students and graduates of the Higher School of Corporate Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), organized by "Samruk-Kazyna" National Wealth Fund JSC in Astana, by the managing director of the Foundation Board Mukan Zholdassov.

"In pursuance of the President's orders and on behalf of "Samruk-Kazyna" the Fund is the operator of the "green block" project. Today the Real Estate Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC has announced the international tender for the development of the project concept and pre-feasibility study (FS). After that we will begin to develop its financial model. "Green Block" will be one of the model projects for EXPO-2017, with consideration of environmentally friendly materials, green energy (renewable energy sources - wind, solar and geothermal energy), " said at the presentation of the" green block" program during the gathering of students and graduate students of the Higher School of Corporate Management in Astana by the Executive MBA student M.Zholdasov.

According to him, the ecological town will be as comfortable as possible for its future residents. The project will mainly include construction of living facilities, business centers, where, incidentally, will be located the subsidiaries of the Fund.

Also, according to the construction norms and rules there will be schools, two kindergartens and other necessary infrastructure like social facilities, hotels, shopping complexes, etc.

"By the Terms of Reference there are to be constructed 6 - and 9-story buildings. After the exhibition we are planning to conduct direct sale of premises. Moreover, we have experience in providing rental-purchase ", said the managing director of the Fund Board.
