Requirements to owners of hazardous industrial and fire-prone facilities tightened last year

KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The requirements to owners of hazardous industrial and fire-prone facilities were tighteneded in 2009; Kazakh Minister of Emergencies Vladimir Bozhko has informed of it today at the enlarged session of the Ministry with participation of Premier K. Massimov.
"Herein, the work of about 10,000 facilities being in fire-prone condition or posing a real threat to their personnel was suspended in time", V. Bozhko said.
According to him, over 37,000 official bodies were subjected to administrative liability whereas the total size of fines reached over KZT 321 mln.
